Instructions
- Start by assembling all your ingredients on a clean workspace.
- Take your two slices of gluten-free bread and lay them flat on a clean surface.
- Use a knife to evenly spread 3 tablespoons of basil pesto sauce over one side of each slice of bread.
- Place a slice of havarti cheese on top of the pesto on one of the slices of bread.
- Layer 3 slices of turkey deli meat on top of the cheese.
- Carefully place the sliced avocado on top of the turkey.
- Place the other slice of bread, pesto side down, on top of the avocado.
- If desired, heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat and toast the sandwich on both sides until golden brown.
Notes
- Wrap leftovers tightly in plastic wrap for storage.
- Consume leftovers within 1-2 days for optimal freshness.
