  • 2 slices gluten-free bread or your favorite type
  • 2 slices havarti cheese creamy
  • 3 tablespoons basil pesto sauce or to taste
  • 3 slices turkey deli meat lean
  • 1/4 avocado sliced for topping

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Start by assembling all your ingredients on a clean workspace.
  2. Take your two slices of gluten-free bread and lay them flat on a clean surface.
  3. Use a knife to evenly spread 3 tablespoons of basil pesto sauce over one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place a slice of havarti cheese on top of the pesto on one of the slices of bread.
  5. Layer 3 slices of turkey deli meat on top of the cheese.
  6. Carefully place the sliced avocado on top of the turkey.
  7. Place the other slice of bread, pesto side down, on top of the avocado.
  8. If desired, heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat and toast the sandwich on both sides until golden brown.
