Ingredients
  

For the Pasta:
  • 1/2 pound large shells pasta
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 cup jarred salsa
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Cheese, crushed tortilla chips, sour cream, and chopped parsley For garnishing

Method
 

Cooking Steps:
  1. Step 1: Cook the Pasta
    Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the large shells pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: Sauté the Aromatics
    In a skillet, heat the canola oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Then, add the minced garlic and continue to sauté for another minute until fragrant.
