Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour for batter
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch for extra crunch
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 pound Chicken breast boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for sauce
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup Sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 stalks Green onions sliced
  • 1 optional Red chili for garnish

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Frying Pan or Skillet
  • Spatula
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Plate with Paper Towels

Method

  1. Start by cutting your boneless, skinless chicken breasts into long strips, about 1-inch wide. This allows for even cooking and a perfect crispy texture.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, and salt. This mixture will coat the chicken and create a deliciously crispy crust.

Notes

  • Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
