Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Gather Ingredients
  2. Step 2: Combine Mayonnaise and Ketchup - In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of good quality mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of ketchup. Stir until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Add Mustard and Lemon Juice - Next, mix in 1 tablespoon of stone ground mustard and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. This will give your sauce that zesty flavor.
  4. Step 4: Spice it Up - Add 1 teaspoon of Tabasco hot sauce, along with 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, ½ teaspoon of Morton kosher salt, and ½ teaspoon of cracked black pepper. Stir until everything is well blended.
  5. Step 5: Taste and Adjust - Give your sauce a taste. If you prefer more heat, add additional Tabasco. If it needs more tang, a splash of lemon juice will do the trick.
  6. Step 6: Chill and Serve - For the best flavor, let the sauce chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows all the flavors to meld together beautifully.

Notes

  • For a tangy twist, consider swapping half of the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
  • Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Adjust the spice levels by adding more or less Tabasco to suit your taste.
