- Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter Mixture - In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, green onions, half of the parsley, and salt. Stir well.
- Step 3: Cut the Sourdough Loaf - Make deep cuts in the loaf both horizontally and vertically, without cutting through the bottom.
- Step 4: Stuff the Loaf - Pull apart the bread pieces and brush the garlic butter mixture into the cuts.
- Step 5: Add the Cheese - Place cheddar slices in between the cuts and sprinkle mozzarella over the top.
- Step 6: Bake the Bread - Wrap in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Step 7: Garnish and Serve - Sprinkle remaining parsley on top after baking and allow to cool slightly before serving.
