Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed properly
  • ½ cup butter softened (salted preferred)
  • 4-6 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley or 2 to 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese finely grated

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Unroll the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Spread the garlic butter mixture over the puff pastry, then sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly.
  4. Fold the puff pastry in half, pressing down to seal. Cut slits on top to allow cheese to ooze out.
  5. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Thaw puff pastry properly for best results.
  • Add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy kick.
  • This recipe can be halved or doubled easily.
