Ingredients
  

For the Pupcakes:
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil (canola or coconut oil works well)
  • 1 medium banana (mashed)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (optional, adjust based on your dog's dietary needs)
  • 1/2 cup flour (whole wheat flour is a great option)
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 ounces cream cheese (or substitute with banana if preferred)
  • 1/2 medium banana (mashed or additional cream cheese)
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter (for frosting)

Method
 

Directions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Line your muffin tin with liners or spray it with non-stick spray.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, oil, mashed banana, and honey. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Step 4: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  5. Step 5: Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  6. Step 6: Spoon the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  7. Step 7: Bake for about 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Step 8: Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Step 9: Prepare the frosting by mixing cream cheese with peanut butter until smooth.
  10. Step 10: Once cool, frost the pupcakes with the peanut butter cream cheese mixture.
