- Step 2: Melt the Base Ingredients - In a medium saucepan, combine the light corn syrup and unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir until the butter is completely melted and the mixture is well combined.
- Step 3: Add Peanut Butter - Once the butter has melted, reduce the heat to low and add the creamy peanut butter. Stir continuously until it is fully melted and smooth.
- Step 4: Incorporate Sugar and Vanilla - Remove the saucepan from heat. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, stirring until fully combined and no lumps remain.
- Step 5: Fold in M&Ms - Gently fold in the M&Ms, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the fudge mixture.
- Step 6: Transfer to the Baking Dish - Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly and press it down gently.
- Step 7: Chill Until Set - Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until it is firm and set.
