  • a pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter I use Justin's Vanilla Almond Butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup raisins

Method
 

  1. Gather all your ingredients in one place to ensure a smooth process.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the old-fashioned rolled oats, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Add the creamy almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined; the mixture should be sticky.
  4. Fold in the raisins, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  5. Roll small portions of the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate the energy bites for at least 30 minutes to firm up before enjoying.

  • These energy bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • For longer storage, freeze the bites separated by parchment paper.
