Ingredients

  • 18.3 ounces brownie mix
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup M&M candies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips optional

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk
  • Rubber spatula
  • Baking Sheet
  • Oven

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures that your cookies bake evenly.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup a breeze.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix and flour. Stir until well blended.
  4. Add the eggs, melted butter, water, and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can affect the texture.
  5. Gently fold in the M&M candies and chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft. Remember, they will continue to cook a bit after you take them out!
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy them warm or store them for later!

Notes

  • Make sure your eggs are at room temperature for better mixing.
  • Don’t overbake; the cookies will continue to firm up as they cool.
  • Consider adding a drizzle of chocolate sauce on top once they cool.
