- Start by grating your block of cheddar cheese. This will help it melt evenly and create that crispy popcorn-like texture.
- Line a microwave-safe plate with parchment paper. For extra non-stick protection, you can lightly spray the parchment with cooking spray.
- Spoon the grated cheese onto the parchment paper in small mounds, leaving some space between each mound to allow for spreading.

- Place the plate in the microwave and heat on high for about 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and bubbling. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
