Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/3 cup butter softened
  • 3 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, pressed garlic, salt, oregano, basil, and thyme until combined.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the buttered bread, followed by Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.

Notes

  • Store leftovers wrapped tightly in plastic wrap for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
  • Use fresh herbs for a more vibrant flavor.
