Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch salt optional and to taste
  • 1 tablespoon milk or cream only if necessary for dough consistency
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sprinkles

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Electric mixer
  • Spatula
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Cookie scoop

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar. Using an electric mixer, cream the ingredients together on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract to the creamed mixture. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and pinch of salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  4. Fold in the white chocolate chips and sprinkles using a spatula.
  5. If the dough feels too dry, add 1 tablespoon of milk or cream to achieve the right consistency.
  6. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out the dough and roll it into balls. Place the dough balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  7. After chilling, your FUNFETTI-Inspired Cookie Dough Balls are ready to be enjoyed!
