  • 1 large egg
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sprinkles plus more for the top
  • 1 1/2 cups milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 can fat-free sweetened condensed milk (about 5 ounces, just over 1/2 cup)

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Whisk or Hand Mixer
  • Baking pan
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This is the perfect temperature for baking your Funfetti Cookie Fudge Bars to golden perfection.
  2. Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal later. If you prefer, you can simply grease the pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. This should take about 2-3 minutes using a hand mixer or whisk.
  4. Beat in the egg, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, and the butter extract until well combined.

Notes
