Ingredients

  • 8 ounces brick-style cream cheese very well-softened (lite is okay)
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese divided (3/4 cup + 3/4 cup)
  • 1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese divided (1/2 cup + 1/2 cup)
  • 1 heaping cup pizza sauce or your favorite marinara or red sauce
  • 15 slices pepperoni or as needed to cover the surface of the pie dish

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Spatula
  • Baking Dish
  • Oven

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure your dip bakes evenly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly in your baking dish. Pour the pizza sauce over the cheese layer.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese on top. Arrange the pepperoni slices over the cheese.
  5. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dippers!

Notes

  • For a lighter option, use low-fat cream cheese and part-skim mozzarella.
  • Add veggies like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
