Ingredients
  

  • 1/2-1 pound ground beef lean for a healthier option
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder use more for a spicier dish
  • 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup salsa your favorite brand or homemade
  • 1 can (15 oz.) Great Northern Beans drained
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • crushed corn chips to taste

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin, and chili powder until browned.
  3. Step 3: Stir in the tomato sauce and salsa, followed by the drained Great Northern beans. Mix until well combined and heated through.
  4. Step 4: In a baking dish, layer half of the beef mixture followed by half of the shredded cheese. Repeat with the remaining beef mixture and top with the rest of the cheese.
  5. Step 5: Add the crushed corn chips on top for a delightful crunch!
