Equipment

  • Blender or Jar with Lid

Method

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Boil the Water - Start by boiling 16 to 20 ounces of water in your kettle. This will be used to steep the Earl Grey tea bags.
  2. Step 2: Steep the Tea - Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 to 3 Earl Grey tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes to extract the full flavor.
  3. Step 3: Mix the Matcha - In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 teaspoon of ceremonial grade matcha powder with about 2 ounces of hot water. Use a whisk or frother to mix until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Combine Ingredients - Remove the tea bags from the steeped tea and pour the tea into a blender or a large jar. Add the matcha mixture, a shake of Ceylon cinnamon, and 1 to 2 scoops of beef gelatin.
  5. Step 5: Add the Fat - Incorporate 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or ghee to the mixture for creaminess and nutrient absorption.
  6. Step 6: Blend It Up - Blend the mixture until frothy and well combined.

Notes

  • Experiment with different brands of Earl Grey for unique flavors.
  • For a vegan option, use plant-based gelatin instead of beef gelatin.
  • Adjust the matcha amount for a stronger or milder taste.
