Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/3 cup almond butter creamy
  • 1 cup almond flour gluten-free
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed meal
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey natural sweetness
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chips rich chocolatey goodness
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil to melt chocolate
  • flaky sea salt for finishing touch

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Pan - Line your 9x9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
  2. Step 2: Mix the Base Ingredients - In a mixing bowl, combine almond butter, almond flour, ground flaxseed meal, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla, and a pinch of sea salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Step 3: Press and Set the Base - Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Press it evenly into the bottom of the pan.
  4. Step 4: Melt the Chocolate - In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Heat in 30-second intervals until melted.
  5. Step 5: Pour the Chocolate Over the Base - Once melted, pour it over the almond butter base, spreading it evenly.
  6. Step 6: Add Flaky Sea Salt - Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the melted chocolate.
  7. Step 7: Chill - Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate has set.
  8. Step 8: Cut and Serve - Once firm, lift the bars out of the pan and cut into squares or rectangles.

  • Store bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Freeze for up to three months, tightly wrapped.
