Cooking Instructions:
- Start by placing the chicken breasts or thighs at the bottom of your crockpot.
- Chop the garlic and sprinkle it over the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the tamari or soy sauce, organic ketchup, honey, chili paste, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and garlic in the crockpot, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, add the broccoli florets to the crockpot.
- Once done, shred the chicken in the sauce, serve it over rice, and top with fresh herbs and toasted sesame seeds.
