Ingredients
  

For the Oats:
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup dried cherries no sugar added
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 cups almond milk unsweetened and plain

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, dried cherries, ground cinnamon, ground cardamom, and kosher salt. Stir well to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
  2. Pour in the pure maple syrup and almond milk. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined. Make sure the oats are fully submerged in the almond milk for even soaking.
  3. Transfer the mixture into your jar or container. Seal it with a lid and place it in the refrigerator. Let the oats soak for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best for optimal texture.
  4. When you’re ready to eat, give the oats a good stir. If desired, top with additional dried cherries and chopped pistachios for an extra crunch and flavor. Enjoy your Cherry Pistachio Overnight Oats cold, or heat them in the microwave if you prefer them warm.
