Ingredients

For the Rolls:
  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 4 strings cheese cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 small clove garlic minced

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Microwave
  • Pastry Brush

Method

Method:
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  3. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the salted butter. Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine.
  4. Open the tube of crescent rolls and unroll the dough on a clean surface, separating the triangles.
  5. Place half a string of cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
  6. Starting from the wide end, roll the dough towards the pointed end, encasing the cheese. Pinch the edges to seal.
  7. Place the rolled crescent dough on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the garlic butter mixture using a pastry brush.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • For a healthier option, use whole wheat crescent rolls.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese for variety.
