Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 bags chocolate toffee bits 8-oz each
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14-oz

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Grease your 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and egg until well combined.
  4. Step 4: Press about two-thirds of the cake mix mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  5. Step 5: Sprinkle both bags of chocolate toffee bits evenly over the pressed cake mix layer.
  6. Step 6: Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the toffee bits and spread evenly.
  7. Step 7: Crumble the remaining cake mix mixture over the top of the condensed milk layer.
  8. Step 8: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling.
  9. Step 9: Let cool completely before cutting into squares to serve.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months, wrapped tightly in plastic.
  • For a unique twist, try using chocolate cake mix.
