  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 package cream cheese softened (8 ounces)
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup milk
  • powdered sugar optional for sprinkling

Method
 

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut croissants into bite-sized pieces and place them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Step 2: Sprinkle the blueberries evenly over the croissant pieces.
  3. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla.
  4. Step 4: Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.
  5. Step 5: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the croissant and blueberry layers, pressing down gently with a spatula.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and set. Let cool for a few minutes.
  7. Step 7: Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Use stale croissants for better texture.
