- In a mixing bowl, combine the reduced-sodium soy sauce, freshly squeezed lime juice, honey, minced garlic, and ground ginger. Whisk until well blended.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
- For oven baking, arrange the marinated salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 12-15 minutes. For stovetop cooking, add oil to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Once cooked, garnish with minced cilantro and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
