  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil adds richness and depth
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey balances the savory elements
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper provides subtle heat
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish, optional

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Sharp knife

Method

Instructions:
  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfect bake.
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, orange juice, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, honey, and black pepper.
  3. Step 3: Place the salmon in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring it's well-coated. Marinate for 15-30 minutes or bake immediately.

  5. Step 5: Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with steamed vegetables or rice.

Notes

  • For a one-pan meal, add sliced bell peppers or broccoli to the baking dish.
  • Add red pepper flakes to the marinade for a spicy kick.
  • Substitute orange juice with lemon or lime for a different flavor.
