Ingredients

For the Wings:
  • 1.5 lbs. chicken wings (see notes)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce (see notes)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup Litehouse Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing
  • 4 stalks celery cut into sticks (optional)

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking brush
  • Meat Thermometer

Method

Cooking Instructions:
  1. Start by patting the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This step is crucial for achieving that crispy exterior. Season the wings with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wings Sauce and melted butter. This mixture will give your wings that classic buttery, spicy flavor that we all love.
  3. Add the seasoned wings into the bowl with the sauce. Toss them until they are evenly coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This step ensures that the wings start cooking right away, helping them become crispy.
  5. Place the coated wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding for the best results. Cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  6. Once the wings are cooked through and crispy, remove them from the air fryer. Serve with Litehouse Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing and celery sticks on the side for a classic touch.

Notes

  • Make sure to dry the wings thoroughly before seasoning; moisture will prevent crispiness.
  • Using a meat thermometer can help ensure that your wings reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Don't skip preheating the air fryer; it’s vital for achieving that crispy texture.
