Ingredients
  

For the Cake:
  • 3 sticks Butter softened at room temperature
  • 3 cups Sugar granulated
  • 5 whole Eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon Butter Flavoring
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Flavoring
  • 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup 7-UP the secret ingredient

Method
 

Baking Instructions:
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Grease and flour your bundt pan thoroughly.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the butter flavoring and lemon flavoring until well combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour. Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture, alternating with the 7UP, starting and ending with the flour.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 65-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting onto a cooling rack.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with a plant-based alternative.
  • Use unsweetened applesauce as an egg substitute (1/4 cup per egg).
  • To enhance lemon flavor, add lemon zest or increase lemon flavoring.
