Ingredients

For the Cookies:
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy, free from added sugars
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey if preferred

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Silicone spatula
  • Baking Sheet
  • Oven

Method

Baking Steps:
  1. Step 1: Preheat the Oven - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready to bake the cookies.
  2. Step 2: Mix the Ingredients - In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of peanut butter and 1/3 cup of maple syrup. Use your silicone spatula to mix until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Step 3: Scoop the Dough - Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto your prepared baking sheet. Leave about 2 inches between each scoop to allow for spreading.
  4. Step 4: Flatten the Cookies - With the back of a fork, gently flatten each cookie. You can create a crisscross pattern for that classic peanut butter cookie look.
  5. Step 5: Bake - Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Step 6: Cool and Enjoy - Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
